We've been brewing in our little alley off Tennyson Street since 2013. Today, Alley Brews is proudly women-owned and carrying that tradition forward.

Our taps rotate, but there's usually a little something for everyone.
Crisp & Easygoing: Lagers, Kölsch, and lighter styles made for another round.
Hoppy & Bold: Pale ales and IPAs that let the hops do their thing.
Rich & Roasty: Dark beers, including our nitro stouts.
A Little Different: Belgian styles, seasonal releases, and the occasional experiment.

Brewing in the Alley Since 2013
Our little brewery has lived a few lives.
It started as De Steeg Brewing in 2013, became Berkeley Alley Beer Co. in 2021, and entered its next chapter as Alley Brews in 2025.
Different names. Same hidden spot. More stories to tell.
Today, we're proud to be a women-owned brewery making beer right here in Denver's Berkeley neighborhood.
And yes, our beer has earned a little recognition, including the popular vote at Rockies Brewfest.
We're proud of that one.
Some people want a great IPA. Others want an espresso martini, a fresh latte, or something without alcohol. Somebody's probably hungry. That's why you'll find craft beer alongside specialty coffee, cocktails, wine, food, and non-alcoholic options. Our dog-friendly patio, cozy taproom, and regular events give everyone a reason to stick around.
