Mother’s Day Weekend: Crawfish, Tattoos & Sunday Market in Denver

  • Alley Brews Brewery & Coffee Shop 4342 Tennyson Street Denver, CO, 80212 United States (map)

A Mother’s Day Extravanganza. Two days. Two different moods.

This Mother’s Day weekend, Alley Brews is flipping the script with a more rock-and-roll alternative to the typical Mother’s Day buffet. On Saturday, May 9, “Tennyson’s Best Kept Secret” space will have a classic Southern crawfish boil starting at 11 a.m. alongside live music from 2:30- 4 p.m. If guests are feeling bold, they can get a (permanent) tattoo from the on-site tattoo artists. The crawfish boil will be $19 for one pound of crawfish, potatoes and corn. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of day—whether you stay for the music, the food, the ink, or all three. FYI, they do have a full bar menu as a reminder.

Sunday will be an all-day Mother’s Day extravaganza with a bouquet + coffee promo, opening at 8:30 a.m. with their one-day-famous lavender matchas. They’ll have yoga starting at 9:30 a.m., a candle class at 2 p.m. as well as vendors market from 2-5 p.m, including a live doodle booth, spark hair extensions, and sweet treats – all with a mimosa bar.
