Friday, September 25 – Sunday, September 27
Alley Brews | 4342 Tennyson St, Denver
Oktoberfest is taking over the alley for the whole weekend.
Three days. Plenty of beer. One very questionable test of shoulder endurance.
Join us Friday through Sunday, September 25–27, for Oktoberfest Weekend at Alley Brews, our women-owned brewery + café just off Tennyson Street in Denver. Saturday will be the big day!
We’ll have Alley Brews beer flowing all weekend alongside coffee, craft cocktails, food and non-alcoholic options — plus a couple of Oktoberfest events worth planning your Saturday around.
Come hungry — we’re bringing out the Oktoberfest menu with beer brats, schnitzel, big Bavarian pretzels + creamy Obatzda for dipping.
Saturday: Official Colorado Steinholding Qualifiers
Think holding a beer sounds easy?
Excellent. We have a competition for you.
Alley Brews is an official U.S. Steinholding Association Colorado qualifying venue, with competitions during Oktoberfest on Saturday at:
2 PM — Women’s + Men’s Divisions
7 PM — Women’s + Men’s Divisions
Competitors hold a full one-liter stein straight out in front of them while maintaining official form.
Last arm standing wins.
And this one actually goes somewhere: Alley Brews will send a women’s champion and men’s champion on to compete at the Colorado Steinholding State Championship.
Judging this year is Alley Brews co-owner Liz Hess, who won our competition last year and qualified for State herself.

Tiny Stein Pickup at Oktoberfest
There will also be some significantly smaller steins in the building.
Anyone who joined our Tiny Stein Pottery Workshop with Studio Terra Tactile on Sept. 13 can pick up their fired ceramic stein at Alley Brews on Saturday during Oktoberfest.
Tiny stein. Big stein. We have apparently committed to the bit.
Is Alley Brews Oktoberfest free?
Yes. There is no general admission required to come to Alley Brews Oktoberfest Weekend.
Individual activities or workshops may have their own registration or participation requirements, but you can come hang out, eat, drink, and watch the festivities without buying an Oktoberfest ticket.
When is Oktoberfest at Alley Brews?
